Most national record-breaking runners don't come from Kansas, let alone Wichita.
But guess what?
This 9-year-old, Juliah Bolden, is the fastest girl in America and she's from right here in the ICT.
Her family has a history of excelling in sports in Wichita. Her father, Jimmie Bolden was a major player for the Wichita State basketball team from '92-'93, her sister, Jewell, won seven High School State Championships for track and field from 2014-2017. Juliah seems to be following their footsteps on being a major athlete from the ICT.
She recently won the 100- and 200-meter national championships in the 9-year-old division last month at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
This little girl is crushing competitors and taking names. I'm lucky if I can run to my car in the pouring rain, you definitely don't want to see me run a race!
Run, Juliah, run!! You're killing it, girl!
