January 29th, aka Kansas Day!
On this day in 1861, Kansas joined the Union making it the 34th state of the United States of America.
In school on Kansas Day, I remember we would learn about the state animal, flower, motto, and sing "Home On The Range" just to name a few.
While it's pretty chilly today, it's still a nice sunny day to go enjoy some beautiful parts of our state.
Some of my favorites are the Flint Hills and Monument Rocks.
What are some ways you'll celebrate?
