I am an extreme extrovert, who loves interacting with people and connecting with them on a personal level. My favorite types of content are storytelling, motivational, and informative. I am not a big news person, I am a believer in learning about new things helps stimulate the mind. I do love entertainment media, but I am not into gossip unless it is humorous. Anime and TV shows are my version of sunday night football. I am not into sports at all but I respect those who are. If I am not talking im probably coming up with the best tv series, comedic skit, or podcast idea in my head.My hobbies include listening to music, watching anime and tv, podcasting, writing, storytelling, Essentially everything I do as a career. However, I enjoy experiencing brand new things, I am up for giving anything and everything a shot, like going to new restaurants, lakes, concerts, creative shows like poetry readings, fire spinners etc. I wish I can experience something new like that everyday. My favorite conversations are ones about the individual I am talking to, I got into radio because it gives me an excuse to ask bands and artist personal questions about their lives. I am very spontaneous and will reference vines, old tv shows, and sitcoms at random even though I know nobody has ever seen them.

HOW TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

I want to lose weight! I want to go to the gym! I want to make more friends! I want to be happier or just happy! I want to learn a new language!

Do these goals sound familiar? These are all great goals which one can accomplish in a year, for sure. But we all know that for 99.9% of us that probably won't happen.

Here's why: These goals are way to broad and for our already busy lives that make scream "WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE" in our heads or out loud. We physically and mentally cannot make goals like that come true. It's virtually impossible and I hate to break it to you, you're not an exception to this harsh reality.

There is way to make these goals a reality! And it doesn't take anymore time. You just have to narrow your goal to make it specific. Let's do one together.

I want to lose weight < I want to lose 50 pounds in 2019. Now this sounds specific but it's still not enough. Let's explain "how".

I want to lose 50 pounds in 2019 < I want to lose 50 pounds in 2019 by going to the gym at least 3x a week and meal prepping.

Now this actually sounds achievable because I created the steps to make this happen. A weekly to do list that will help make my goals become a reality

It's also good to have resolutions that flow into one another to give your main resolution a "why".

Why do I want to lose 50 pounds in 2019, because I want to go skydiving.

Well right now, I am ashamed to say this but I am above weight to go sky diving. So I need to lose the weight to be able to go. Now to make that goal specific more specific.

I want to lose 50 pounds in 2019 by going to the gym at least 3x a week and meal prepping, so I can go Skydiving before Halloween.

Now, I have to go to the gym, keep up with meal prepping, and lose enough weight by Halloween to go skydiving. This is one of the best ways to give purpose to your goal. When I start talking myself out of going to the gym I can repeat my purpose help keep me motivated.

One of the worse things I keep hearing are "I don't want to make goals because if I don't make them, I will be upset and mad".

I am so sorry that somebody in your life made you feel bad about yourself for not being able to reach a goal of yours that you probably tried really hard to make come true. I want to let you know that it is okay, to fail and that goals like these are worth having. Every time you go to the gym, every time you put yourself out there to make new friends, and every time you do something to try to make your life better, you are learning. That's the most important part.

Let's say I don't lose reach my goal by Halloween but I lose 30 lbs. That's still a win! I lost weight, I am healthier and I still can work towards losing the 20 lbs, and go early skydiving early next year.

2019, is right around the corner and so get ready. You got this! I believe in you!
