The amount of controversy that surrounds Logan Paul has never stopped him from continuing to do what he does. Whether that is inspirational or annoying, is a question you should answer for yourself. However, YouTube decided to take another chance on this social pariah, and continue with another installment of The Thinning series.
Today, October 17th, on the YouTube Channel Logan Paul Vlogs, Paul posted the trailer for the second installment of The Thinning series, "The Thinning: New World Order".
"After risking her life to expose the corruption of the thinning test, Laina Michaels (Peyton List) becomes the target of Governor Redding's machiavellian presidential campaign. Blake Redding (Logan Paul), trapped and enslaved in a secret underground work camp, must fight to reconnect with the love of his life and do what no failed student has done before: escape." - Logan Paul Vlog's
I used the YouTube Red Free Trial to watch "The Thinning" back in 2017 and I didn't hate it. In fact, I thought it was okay...But for like an indie film. Not for a film with millions of dollar allocated towards production. I would rate it a 6 out of 10 because I believed it was good enough to watch through and I was happy I got to see it for free. I was not happy that I forgot to cancel my membership right after and was charged 9.99 for three months.
I want to say this sequel looks a lot better than the first one. However, I am apprehensive about the amount of love making/kissing in the trailers. My hope is that those are just side stories and will not distract from the main story line. I think Peyton List is an amazing actress who is undeserved, while Paul isn't bad but still has a long way to go. Judging by his performance in this trailer, I still think he hasn't improved that much since the first one. We will see...
