I know you've said or people have said it you "I don't watch TV" but we all know that's a lie. Its either the following:
1. The person you are talking to is going to go full nerd and you aren't ready for that
2. You are ashamed in what you are binging and don't want to look weird
3. The person whose Netflix account you were using kicked you off and so you are in limbo
4. You hate puppies
I don't know why you would ever be ashamed but I totally get why one might think that way. Your TV/ Movie interest is you, own it! Embrace it! and Let It GO!!! But if you are interested in new stuff here is a list of great shows that will keep you occupied this crazy rush before the holidays.
SCHITT'S CREEK
When filthy-rich video store magnate Johnny Rose and his family suddenly find themselves broke, they are forced to leave their pampered lives to regroup and rebuild their empire from within the rural city limits of their only remaining asset - Schitt's Creek, an armpit of a town they once bought as a joke.
Michelle told me about Schitt's Creek and by how excited she was about it, I was afraid I wouldn't like it as much and have to do that awkward..."oh its fine..Its funny, yeah" and never watch another episode again.
However, I loved it! I watch season 1 and 2 in 3 days and there is a season 3!!!!! Each episode is cleverly written and the dialogue gives you a sense of what is going through each characters mind. Most comedies sometime have a level of separation and unpredictability which is standard. However, in Schitt's Creek as thing start to happen you begin you anticipate what might happen making you go.."OH No, this is gonna be bad". and it is perfect!!

THE DRAGON PRINCE
Two human princes forge an unlikely bond with the elfin assassin sent to kill them, embarking on an epic quest to bring peace to their warring lands.
The creators of my childhood fantasy Avatar The Last Airbender has created a brand new series! This one includes a world of magical abilities, connection with nature and mythical creatures. similar to Avatar. This show has many of the same voice actors and also carriers the same humorous elements we saw in avatar along with the VERY REAL undertones of the series. I was engulfed in the series and I binged it in two days only because I had to work and sleep in between. I can't wait for season 2!

I was hoping the presidential alert was about a zombie apocalypse. That could help re-unify this country.
I am probably one of the biggest walking dead fans out there. As I say that I will probably be shown up by at least 6 of you. But that's not the point! The walking dead has been a series that has fostered a cult following for years. It was the undisputed king of cable TV for years and still rises to the top during each premiere. They have a spin-off series, a talk show, and a talk show about the spin off series. If you love drama, action, thriller, are completely okay with seeing beloved characters perish, and cheer when the bad guy loses, and cry if they somewhat win, then this show is for you!!!
The antagonist keep getting progressively more evil and the new season about to drop is even crazy than the last one....see it for yourself.
