Fans may still have a ways to go before they hear Taylor Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl, but her fiancé Travis Kelce already has a favorite song from the record.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end got Swifties excited for Swift's forthcoming 12th studio album, out October 3, on Wednesday's (August 27) episode of his and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, per People. Swift first announced the new record while making her podcast debut alongside the Kelce brothers in a record-breaking episode earlier this month.

"I'm gonna go ahead and just keep poking the bear to all the Swifties," Travis said. "I keep listening to this album. I know she mentioned that it's gonna be a lot more pop beats, but it's still just so poetic in her melodies and her references and stuff."

The Super Bowl champion added that he can't help but bust a move to the new tunes, admitting, "It's just so much fun to listen to, man. I've been dancing throughout the house."

When Jason wondered if his brother had one song he enjoyed the most of the 12-track album, Travis quipped that he's "not a politician" before revealing his current favorite track is "Opalite."

"I think 'Opalite' might be my favorite, though... At least now," he said. "Every time it comes on, I always catch myself."

Travis' comments come on the heels of he and Swift announcing their engagement on Tuesday after two years of dating. The couple shared a series of photos from the romantic garden proposal in a joint post on Instagram with the caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨." The athlete's father, however, revealed that they have actually been engaged longer than fans think.
