Ariana Grande Closes Out Coachella 2019 With Surprise Guest Justin Bieber

2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 2 - Day 3

Ariana Grande gave Beliebers the surprise of their lives during her final performance at Coachella 2019.

The "Sweetener" singer pulled out all the stops to culminate her second headlining set of the California music fest Sunday night (April 21), performing "God Is a Woman," "Be Alright," Side to Side," "7 Rings," "The Light Is Coming," "Dangerous Woman" and a slew of her smash hits from her incredible catalog. Though it was shortly before wrapping up her showcase that she treated fans with the biggest shock of the night when she ushered her friend Justin Bieber onto the stage to perform his hit song "Sorry."

“We thought it might be fun to do something for you guys,” the 25-year-old songbird told concertgoers before Bieber launched into his 2015 jam. The iconic moment marked the first time he's graced the main stage in years.

“I haven’t been on stage in like two years. I came out here I had no idea I was going to be on stage tonight," he told the audience — but the surprise didn't end there. "So anyways this is my first time on stage in two years. I had to get my groove back, my swag back. By the way, album coming soon,” Bieber concluded, sending the Coachella crowd into massive applause.

The Biebs' announcement is a pretty big deal considering he recently said he wouldn't be releasing new music. Though as the "Cold Water" musician headed off stage, Grande did the honors of ending the night with "No Tears Left to Cry" and an encore of "Thank U, Next."

Bieber's surprise appearance with the "NASA" songbird comes just a week after Grande reunited *NSYNC — sans Justin Timberlake — for her weekend one Coachella show.
