Kim Kardashian was among the thousands of residents forced to evacuate her home due to the uncontrollable Woolsey Fire that swept through her Hidden Hills neighborhood on Thursday night (November 8).

The 38-year-old was reportedly given just an hour to take what belongings she could before fleeing her residence as the wildfire moved in near Kim and her husband Kanye West's compound in the Hidden Hills district.

The reality star, who was en route to her Calabasas residence via private jet, captured aerial shots of the flames on her Instagram Stories before landing.

"Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote, asking her followers to "pray for Calabasas."

Kim also caught footage of police cars and firetrucks arriving as first responders facilitated citizens during the mandatory evacuation. Kim's older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also decided to flee her home as the fire spread into surrounding areas.

According to the Evening Standard, the fire broke out early in the Hill Canyon region in the south of the state, scorching almost 7,000 acres of land, the Ventura County Fire Department reports. By last night, it was reported the flames had burned through approximately 20,000 acres.

Authorities say unconfirmed reports of fatalities have been made.
