According to "Love Food", the signature, mouthwatering dish for Kansas that outsiders HAVE to try is....BBQ!
Now, I'm sure that a lot of that is from Kansas City (although, a good portion of KC is in Missouri), but Wichita has some pretty amazing BBQ joints as well.
I would actually say that Wichita is a hidden gem for BBQ lovers. What's your favorite BBQ place in town?
